Blend pedal?

A few of my pedals have blend knobs which I love, but when I have a couple going at once it kind of renders that useless. What I'm after is something kind of like an effects loop blend, but on my pedal board for easy use at gigs etc (with other peoples amps and not much set-up time).

What I'm liking so far is the Radial BigShot Mix, but I read somewhere that it can cut off highs and has a max 50/50 signal? Is this a problem on bass or are there any better options?

I'm actually in the process of building one of those pedals. It consists of two independent loops with their own volume controls for blending the looped effects and foot switches to bypass the signals. I paid about 30 bucks for all the parts.
With it I'll be able to blend any fuzz, OD, or distotion and still maintain my low end, which is a topic which comes up alot here on TB.
I'll post pics and schematics once I complete the project if anyone is interested.

I like the look of the Wounded Paw Effects Loop Blender 1.1, very simple which is what I want! I only have one board and don't want to do anything fancy here, just mix my effects with a dry signal.

On eBay there is also an Xotic Blender which is pretty reasonably priced, should I just snap that up if it doesn't go up too much?

i have the WP Blender v2 and its great. it takes a while to get used to it. the xblender seems easier to use

I would be very interested in seeing a schematic for such a pedal :) Could be very useful :)

I'm interested. I want to incorporate blending options into my 8-loop pedal.

Here's the basic schematic, (very bottom of the page). I just doubled the recipe for 2 loops. I also used bi-color LEDs, so I used the remaining empty space on the switch. If you don't want LEDs (which means no need for power) just use a DPDT instead of a 3PDT.

badger effects - schism (has a ton of options, and you can get it modded to have less if you want).

heres my approach: looper with 2-3 parallel channel and ONLY volume adjustment and on/off bypass for each. not every pedal has a volume knob, and this lets me keep everything even. if pedal 1 is awesome but cuts lows or highs or whatever, then put it in loop 1. put pedal number 2 in channel 2, assuming pedal 2 adds highs/lows/whatever pedal 1 lacks. its a fantastic alternative to a mixer; kinda a limited mixer you adjust with your feet.
