I am working on a project, a Squier VM Jag Humbucker. This thing sounds surprisingly good for a $200 bass! I am going to add a second pickup, a Sterling alnico I just scored from classifieds.
Since pickups are both passive, I thought about switching setups, what about a blend pot before the pre-amp ? any issues with doing this ? Can anyone tell me the distance between the heel of the neck and the top of the front pickup on a H-H stingray ?
