Blend Pot Wiring - it's more than meets the ear

So I came up with this wiring configuration and was wondering if anyone sees any obvious flaws. The red lines are jumper wires. View attachment 7354660
Hers what's happening

First, let's reimagine each pot as two resistors- the top resistor is between the wiper and pickup, and the bottom is what's between the output and ground.. ignoring pickup B, this is a perfect volume control.

But with pickup b, we see that the output sees BOTH resistors to ground in parallel.

Rewriting the exact same circuit with things visually moves around, and getting rid of the 0 ohm resistor, we see this, showing how the 'non muted' pickup is still being loaded ('closer' to ground).. it helps to remember that a pickup has its own impedance/resistance characteristics, so even with no series resistance from its own pot, it's internal resistance is still behaving as part of a voltage divider with the decreasing resistance to ground from the other pick ups pot

So as the intended pick up is lowered closer and closer to muted, we can see just how loaded the "un muted" pickup is, getting dragged all the way down with its partner
