Hey gang, This may be a bit silly but I've been practicing hard the last month or so up to 2 hr per day after a 30 year absence from playing. I have developed a blister under the skin on my left index finger, right on the tip where the finger touches the string. It is not near the surface, if it were I would lance it. It is deeper. It is quite painful to finger the fret board. I realize I have pushed a bit too hard after such a long absence. Has this happened to any of you and if it did, what did you do to remedy it. I hope there is a quick solution as I don't want to wait 4 or 5 weeks for it to dry up and go away on it's own. Any suggestions?
