Are you sure you don't work for the "Old Peavey", "Old Acoustic Control" or "Old Sunn" advertising department?

LOVE IT, LOVE IT, LOVE IT!!! I should be tattooed in Old English typeface on every "Old Peavey", "Old Acoustic Control" or "Old Sunn" amplifier!! (In white, of course, with black Tolex and all..)

My buddy had a similar Peavey in his jam room. The thing was a mess...it looked like it had been dug out of the ground. Filthy dirty. I asked what the deal was. He said it was fully submerged in a storage shed during a flood. And it still worked fine.

Never saw a Peavey I couldn't get a useable sound out of—an amp or a cabinet. They weren't great sounding from the very beginning, but they've been great sounding for many years now. Moving them, however, has been a labor of love until relatively recently.

Everything I do is for money. Lots of money. Primal, crude, bug eating, mud-rolling, tire biting money. It couldn't be any other way.

Loll Peavey sure is heavy stuff...I gigged my 1820 Peavey cab for close on 30 years in Aust. and my ex wife used to help me load it..notice i said EX wife..122lbs of Peavey cab needs two people to pick it up...my blown disc can testify to that lol Great gear though Peavey...indestructable. Great combos those Peavey TNT 150's. Great purchase for the price. Congrats.

Nice that is a killer old Peavey rig! I bet it moved some serious air! I would rock that set up for sure.

You still have that rig.. that is awesome. I'm currently looking into picking up some more old Peavey gear. I might be able to grab a 1820 cab just need to find an old head to drive it.

Yep had it since 1986 from memory and she still works great with the MKIV head..if you get a chance at a cheap 1820 or 1810 cab go for it..great speaker that Black Widow 18" teamed with the 2 x10" Scorpions.
I used my Peavey 91 Dyna Bass through it past near on 30 years lol Great sound with The Dyna Bass through the Peavey rig.

Yeah I love the BW speakers. I can just imagine how they sound paired with a couple Scorpions. I built my own bass out of an old 78 MM stingray and a 70s P bass and it seriously sounds amazing through the Peavey combo. It is pretty much just as good as my Traynor tube head. Very similar with the boosted mids.

Actually I havent even tried my Peavey T-40 through the Peavey rig yet...she sounds great through the Fender Rumble combo 500 but I must drag the Peavey out of cold storage and try out the T-40 as that darn Peavey bass has so many different sounds it can sound like a dozen different bass brands including a Ric lol

I'm planning on visiting family in northern Australia in the near future. I definitely need to stop by haha your gear is totally what I look for / have!
