Blown tweeter: a question...

So let me get this straight...

1. You replaced the attenuator
2. You replaced the tweeter
3. You replaced a capacitor(?)
4. You added a fuse
5. Now you're enjoying great sound

Is this the jist of it?

Well I installed the Peerless 811647 tweeter into my b212 about a month ago and I am very pleased with the result. I find it to be well balanced all the way up so I haven't upgraded the L-Pad.

This is a great tweeter upgrade.

that's great to hear! I think a 100 watt attenuator will take more abuse than that stock one though. But if its taking the power you are throwing at it, then no worries.

You may have already mentioned this, but what kind of power were you putting into the Avatar?

I have a QSC PLX 2402 that I run bridged if I'm only using one cab, or stereo if I'm using both my Avatar (8 ohm) and Schroeder (4 ohm).
