So I one of these that struggles a bit with technology. I am much more attuned to keeping an engine running than keeping my tech gear running.

New truck. Well 18 month old new truck. My phones Bluetooth is not properly connecting to my truck. It thinks it is connected. But nothing is there. No music. No phone calls. I have deleted and rediscovered the phone several times. No dice. Thing is, the Bluetooth works fine to play music on the speaker in my office.

So, how does one know if his problem lies with the phone or with the truck? How does that get isolated without the expense of a phone repair bill and a vehicle repair bill?

Delete the truck from the phone and the phone from the truck. Do both; then pair. That will set up a new connection with out any of the baggage of the old connection that may be mucking things up.
