Double Bass Bluegrass String Help

I would only pluck, mostly Bluegrass with an 1940 Kay. I don't like high tension strings. Medium to more sustain is Ok. I would like a big boomy dark tone that would blend well with the old acoustic instruments. What string set or hybrid mix would you recommend.I've tried Obligato, Dominent,Super Silvers,Red Label, Labella black tape wound, Super nyl's.....Thanks

Out of interest, how suitable were the Super Silvers? I've been meaning to try them but I got Silver Slaps instead and I think they are too low-tension for me really.

I would like the Super Silvers over the Slaps. I don't like that low of tension. The SS have a good tension and a good sound and easy on the hands, but I think there is something more suitable for me. If you were to try a hybrid set what would it be...
