Bongo 5 action

I have been wanting to check out a MM Bongo 5 and finally got my hands on one. I was disappointed because the action was abnormally high in my opinion. This was a brand new bass and I would like to know if the high action is typical for the Bongo, or did this particular bass just come from the factory with a bad setup. I am really disappointed with the way it played.

Any input on this would be greatly appreciated!

Low action on my 5 HH. Sounds like it needs to be set up correctly. Best playing bass I've owned.

Thanks for the input. My main bass is a Pedulla Thunderbass ET5 and I love it. I am just intrigued by the bongo and really like the way they look. I am not giving up on the bongo, I just want to put my hands on one with a better setup before I pull the trigger on buying one.
