Bongo or jazz

Both are quality basses , but one is not high up on the looks scale .
I have two girlfriends, one blonde and one brunette. I like both but would like your opinion.
My vote is Bongo. I haven't played a Jazz that felt right in MY hands or sounded right to MY ears.

Both excellent basses IMO. Keep and play them both.
My attitude is: If you can responsibly afford it, why settle for one really nice bass when you can have two for twice as much money?

I have two hammers in my toolbox but I like the both your opinion.
As other say, both if you can, but if one has to go, I'd keep the Bongo if it has 2 pickups as it would potentially offer more versatility. Then again, I am a bit of an outlier as Fenders just don't do much for me and I don't have a problem with the Bongo aesthetics.

What are you asking? You have two things but you want our opinions? They're both great.
I prefer the Bongo. But what sound do you need? Neither, does the other’s thing. The only near overlap is the bridge pickup soloed. Other than that, they are entirely different animals.
each can produce sounds the other cannot. seems like a good pair of nice basses to have in the stable. which one to keep if that's the question would depend on which tones are most appropriate for the music you're playing.
If you need the money, sell one. If you REALLY need the money, sell both. If you don’t need the money, keep both. Which one to keep? Beats me. I’ve never played your basses.
