hi all. i am returning to playing bass guitar after giving it up in my late teens when I started 6string.
Not an unusual story, life got in the way of music, but at almost 40, i've decided to get back in to bass again.
I have an old custom sound combo amp which I picked up cheap, a bass V-amp pro, and a cheap 34" 4string with terrible action.
Due to an injury to my left elbow when I was young, I really need something shorter, so i am currently building a 30" 4string.
maple & black walnut laminate through neck, maple body with bookmatched black wallnut front and back, two EMG 35TW pickups, schaller M4 tuners, schaller 2000 bassbridge and a few other bits.
The build is already underway and i will do a thread on it after it's completed
