"Money from streaming is a joke" is a drumbeat by people who don't look at it from enough angles. Sure, revenue per song is trivial. So are expenses, and ability to distribute globally is massively better than anything before now unless you are among a very small population of artists who still have heavy industry backing.
Before anyone complains about streaming revenue, they should figure in what they paid for the boxes of unsold CDs they have in their basements (I do anyhow) and how much money and exposure they can really get asking their girlfriends to "man the merch table" at all the gigs they aren't playing.

This is true. Bruce clearly never torqued 202 heads on to an SBC. Also, most people wouldn't say shifter (Hurst) on the floor. It's a cool song, though.

Bruce has a history of paying his bands way above what was the usual frontman/ side man scale. Ask Nils Lofgren.
