boss acoustic simulators

ive been looking at getting either the ac-2 or ac-3 for my guitar, and i was wondering how they sound with bass. ive already searched around a bit and havent found much so if any one can tell me their expiriences with either of these pedals that would be nice.

I have the Behringer knock off, and through my electric guitar it actually does a pretty respectable job replicating an acoustic if you use a little eq and reverb. On bass however, it will do little good if your goal is to make it sound like an acoustic. The few times I tried it just made my bass way too boomy.

If you want to simulate an acoustic bass guitar, just turn your volume all the way down.

They're totally crud on bass... is the general consensus.

Works fine on guitar, not really on bass from my experience. I have the AC-2, BTW.

I tried it a while back, but can't remember.

David should combine this with the Blue LED thread. Blue LED's can do this and pretty much anything else you could imagine. When the LED's turn off, the sun sets. When the LED's turn on, the sun rises.

They can do anything.
