BOSS GT-10B Channel Assistance

Hi all,

So I'm several years late to the GT-10B party, but so far, loving it....
I've got one question regarding the A/B channel selector. In theory, I can have a flat tone for A and kick in (for example) an octave on channel B.... all the while on one patch. The assign parameters work, but not as expected. I got the effect kicking in on A only... Same tone etc. on B though.

I've got around this by assigning CTL1 to FX1, but pray tell... what is the channel selection for then?

The manual is a little WTH??? for my old brain hahahaha

I used to use the Boss Gt-10B. The A/B does work together in one patch. You've probably noticed both channels selected on some of the preset patches. If I remember correctly, press Master/Pedal FX then move to the right to Channel Select. In Channel Select you'll find options for the type of A/B Channel Mode you want, i.e Single, Dual Mix etc. Also, the parallel effects chain allows you to move or select the effects you have on Channel A and Channel B chains(s). Hi there. I only saw this now, which is annoying. I have figured out the mix, but can't gets the A/B to work... at least not like its "apparently" supposed to work.
Well, back to the head scratching.
