Boss OC-2 issue (it’s ASA)

Once I started running mine at 12V, it really opened up.
Thanks for the hint, I never knew! I've been struggling with my old Boss pedals literally for decades on that very "battlefield".

So on the other hand, just last year I bought the EV Everse 8 battery amp for busking (and whatever else needed), mainly for use with the upright bass, but also for occasional solo gigs with acoustic guitar. It has a 12V output to power primarily wireless mic setups (which I don't have), but I already noticed that also works with an odd reverb effect pedal someone gave me which requires 12V. So I just tested the 12V output with my old "ACA" Boss CS-3 that I must have bought around 1985 or so, and lo and behold, it finally works! (The Everse has built-in channel compressors, but for an acoustic slide guitar, the old CS-3 is just "magic"!)
