I prefer boss pedals, I prefer their on/off switching as they feel smoother and I dislike the button ptm switches, I always feel like I might get switch bounce from them. I also prefer their slightly smaller size.

Fair amount of elitism in this thread.
In all seriousness, I wouldn't replace my TU-2 with the Digitech equivalent, but if I were constrained to the two when looking for a Tubescreamer clone I'd go for the Hardwire Tube Driver (or whatever it's called...). For some reason I've gotten on better with the Boss time based effects more than the Digitech counterparts as well.
Can't deny how much of a swiss army knife the BSW is though - deserves all the acclaim for sure.

I have a few Boss (LMB-3, TU-2 and a borrowed DD-7) and a couple of Digitechs (BSW and JamMan Solo). I prefer the BSW over the Boss equivalent and sold a RC-3 in favor of the JamMan. Not planning to change the TU-2 and LMB-3. The DD-7 is a phenomenal pedal, as far as I am concerned (at least for what I need it to be).
A lot has been and can be said about digital, analog, tone and features and whatnot for each brand and righfully so, I'm sure.
The only thing I'm preoccupied with for the Digitech pedals I have is the switching system... doesn't feel as "solid" as the Boss's switch. Other than that, I don't have an "emotional" attachment to either brand.
