Boss pedal problem - comes on but does not turn off

I got a Boss LMB-3 Bass Limiter Enhancer and when the footswitch is depressed, the light comes on and it functions properly. When you push it again, if interrupts the light, but then does not disengage. To turn off the effect, you need to unplg the power and replug it in. Any ideas? Can i just replace the switch or is this a more serious repair?

I would check under the footswitch cover to make sure the battery clip wires aren’t interfering with the footswitch button

Yes - I have opened the cover and pushed the button manually -- it is the same problem.

hahaha. I was going to say something like this.

On the real, it sounds like the cover is snagging on the switch somehow. I'm not 100% with Boss pedals, but it seems like a relatively simple fix.

Probably. Boss pedals are generally bulletproof.

I used the living hell out of my LMB3. It was a staple until I got my SpectraComp.

Now, our guitarist is using it...
