Boss RC-10R

Hi all,

I'm trying to decide on a new looper to replace my Digitech Jamman Solo XT. In the past I also had a Boss RC3.

I want to replace these with a looper that has better rhythm options, so was looking at the Boss RC-10R. My question is, does anyone know whether the rhythms get saved with the loop, when transferring to the PC? With my Jamman and RC3, the rhythms did not get saved.

Or if not, can the RC5 save the rhythm?

Thanks!

Nope. The BOSS RC-10R does not save rhythms with the loop when transferring the files to the computer using the dedicated software. The transferred file is a .wav file with the loop only.

For the BOSS RC5, I don't know, but I guess it will be the same behaviour.

However, it should be possible to record the loop and the rhythms by transferring the audio signal via an audio interface. I never tried this though.
