Boss Waza Craft Fuzz

According to Boss it will be made in, limited quantities. So I guess when that pre-order button goes up, its going to get slammed. The original FZ-2 had a big following with guitarists.

Theres been alot of talk about this being an Fz-2 Hyper Fuzz, which would make complete sense, considering how popular it now is.
Something rings out to me though: the hammerite finish, it's actually what the FZ-3 Fuzz and Sola Sound Mkii Tonebenders have and not the FZ-2. Also, on another post, Boss shared a pic of some Transistors and a few of the comments were suggesting these would be more relevant to a Tonebender, which is what the FZ-3 is.

Also, looking at the pic, it looks like two mkii Tonebender style knobs and a switch.

Alot of this is suggesting to me that this limited fuzz is actually a Tonebender and either a FZ-3w or a modified Mkii Tonebender as a new model.

I feel it would make more sense for a Fz-2w and an HM-2w to go into full production run as there is alot of hype around these pedals and Boss must realise that smaller companies are making money off their out of production pedals as well as the used market going crazy for them.

A limited run Waza Tonebender? Sure, why not, some people will go for it but it's going to have a smaller potential audience than an hm2 or fz2, so the fact that it's limited actually benefits it if its true that it's limited due to scarcity of components

Boss has already announced they'll be making a HM-2 waza.

With bots being a new obstacle when something hyped hits the market this launch will be interesting...

While I find the upcoming announcement interesting I'll most likely sit back and watch how this release turns out.

Yeah, I'm glad it's probably going to put some money in Macari's (who own Sola Sound) pocket and even as a limited run, it's probably going to cost less than an actual Sola Sound mkii, but there are so many mkii clones on the market that don't bring much new to the table.

I'll say this: I'm having a great time with the Blammo Electronics Tomb Sender, It's based on a mkii and also sounds great on bass in my opinion
