First of all this is from measure 101 in the cadenza.
My edition has the d-f-a over and over till you get to the A about a octave off the fingerboard. Then a D quarter note and a C 8th note.
I asked my teacher about this because in most recordings I heard there is another set of 16th note triplets similar to those that followed the sets of 32nd notes in measures 98-100.
He brought his edition of the Bottesini today and instead of what I have he has a D melodic minor scale from open D up 2 octaves. Then the set of 16th note triplets.
I am wondering in measure 101 which is standard, the d-f-a for 4 octaves or the D melodic minor scale for 2? In a audition, which is standard?
