Nice! I see now that they make short and medium scale RockBasses but I'm surprised they haven't expanded on that since weight and ergonomics seem to be the biggest reason for people passing on them. I know I'd love a medium scale thumb lol

Is that the lighting, or does your fretboard green up towards the lower end? I like it!

Other than my Rick, mine are al short: 1990's Jerry Jones longhorn, 1969 Gibson EB0, 1963-4 ish Hagstrom 1. Love them...and the Rick too!

Hello, new member here.
I have a Squier Jaguar short scale that I purchased recently from a pawn shop.
Do any of you guys play heavy metal or hard rock with your short scale basses?

Long time shortscale fan .It was a Dano Longhorn that got me on the bus , I think I have about eight of them now . Even picked up a shortscale Epi Flying V . Guilty pleasure . My favourite seems to be the Gibson Les Paul DC Jr . Beautiful little thing .
That new Nordy might be calling though ...

I actually bought the bass for my young daughter many years ago. I had to play at least 1 song with it.

Ha! You're now the 3rd person on here (myself included)(that I know of) with a Badtz Maru.

Strung w/GHS Short Scale Precision Flats, it rocks.
