Brad Smith is a pretty darn good bass player

The other day I decided to throw on an old favorite album of mine. Soup, by Blind Melon (90's alternative I believe they call it), and it surprised me how good the bass is on that album.
It's odd because I listened to those songs a million times as a younger man And always loved that album. Now I think I've got a new appreciation or understanding of that music.
Anyway, the point is Brad Smith is awesome and if you haven't heard Soup, I humbly invite you to give it a listen.

I know I'm digging up an old thread, but I was just going to create one saying the same thing.

I'm learning "No Rain" but also listening to the rest of the album, and this guy is really groovy. Googled him to see if he is playing anywhere now but didn't find much.
