Breaking a Bass

How can I break my bass in a way that it looks like it happened by accident, or there is a problem that would be expensive to fix.
I need it broken so I can get my new bass earlier :hmm: Thanks!

You gotta be ******** me, Pyle!!!

Are you a spoiled rotten teenager that has never been taught the (declining) value of a dollar, a person who acts like a spoiled rotten teenager, or just a forum troll?

Seriously...if you were my kid and you destroyed your bass, I wouldn't so much as give you a Fender Medium pick.

What an unbelievable contrast, here on TB, between teens like Jordan Crawford and some of the less grateful and much less mature kids who post here...

Ahhh, thats me! :D

Put on your bass; go jump in front of a moving bus. Sorry man but purposefully breaking an instrument because you lack patience is BS. IMHO:hiding:

I would suggest a speeding train instead of a bus...but otherwise I agree with you. To me that is the height of selfishness, lies and deceit...

And I'm not saying IMHO or hiding about it. I think it is stupid, selfish and a waste.

And to the OP, look msn, I have no personal issue with you, but you asked for opinions. You got mine.

Also, if your bent on getting rid of a bass so you can get another one, and you're up for lying and deceiving, how about giving your bass to someone who needs it or to a local music program? Then you can just say it was "stolen". At least you'd be filling a need and not destroying an otherwise perfectly functional bass.

I am relatively sure you won't be making many friends on this topic....

Whoa you are 16? I thought you were a lot older than that from your posting style and knowledge. I'm 20 and thought you were older than me. Good work man. I think bassists are much more level headed than guitards.
