Meh, it got too ridiculous to be good television around half way into the third season. You can only escalate a dangerous situation so many times before the audience starts laughing at the absurdity of everything.
I know absurdity was a central point of Breaking Bad from the getgo, but it grew to obscure everything else too quickly. It would have been a great two or even three season-long series.
Yeah! They should have GTFO by the end of the third season; that was my point.

No doubt, it has been over-the-top...but I love it & I was a come-lately to the series (only watched it when it became available on Netflix/Amazon...no commercials...watched 4 seasons in about 3 weeks time; it's the only way to go).
Something else cool-
The music. Whoever is in charge of picking some of these tunes...kudos.
How 'bout that crazy **** that Gail Boetticher was diggin' on?
Gus had some nice Jazz tuneage playin' in his crib.
How about "Uh" by Fujiya & Miyagi?
(Jesse attempting to cook while Badger played with the beakers)
The stuff from the '60s was on-point.
IIRC, these are Season_5 highlights (for me)-
The Monkees- "Going Down"
Tommy James & The Shondells- "Crystal Blue Persuasion"
The Peddlers- "On A Clear Day You Can See Forever"...which I thought was a new version done in a retro-vibe. Honestly, had never heard of The Peddlers before Breaking Bad. Turns out they were a very cool '60s trio. Their bassist does a great job copping an upright vibe on his electric bass.
