Breaking Bad coming back

I didn't but that's an astute observation! I suppose when you kill someone (indirectly), you take on their mannerisms. :p

Well after he killed Crazy 8 he started cutting the crusts off his sandwiches because that's what Crazy 8 did.

But putting a towel on the floor to kneel on was something he never saw Gus did. It's most likely just an intentional throwback from the writers rather than Walt taking on that particular trait as a result of witnessing it and then killing the person.

...though, he does make himself a 52 with bacon on his birthday the way Skyler did but I don't think that means he's going to kill her I just think that was a yearly tradition.

I noticed that he did that with the towel and found it odd but I didn't remember Gus doing the same...I think they might've even shown it in the "previously, on Breaking Bad" segment. :atoz:

I don't think they would have shown it in the previously segment because he did it in the middle of Season 4. The episode where Jesse gets dragged to Mexico to cook for the cartel and they won't let him leave. Gus poisons Tequila and gives it to the cartel as a present and they all drink from it. Gus goes into the bathroom afterward to vomit and he puts a towel on the floor before he kneels down.

It might've been in the "prequel/buildup" thingy they showed earlier this week. I specifically remember Gus doing the technicolor yawn...I don't if they showed the towel thing.

First of all the WHOLE show is about life insurance, and I think hes gonna kill Jesse with the ricin or he could always say hank was in on it, because Walt paid for all his medical bills which makes it seems that hank helped him.
The moral of the show is buy life insurance, or to protect yourself.

SPOILER ALERT!

Walt paid for all his medical bills which makes it seems that hank helped him.

This is a good point.

It doesn't seem as though Walt is much afraid of Hank or what Hank can do to him.

I loved Walt's last comment, something along the lines of, "If you know all this about me, and you know who I am and what I can do...then I suggest you tread lightly."

Solid gold.

Or maybe he's going to kill himself. Remember when he told Hank that they both know he will never see the inside of a prison cell? Perhaps he will end up being a wanted man, and return to his home to retrieve the ricin, after faking his own death. This is backed up by the fact that when he returned to his home in the flash-forward scene, a neighbor saw him and flipped out.

That's just my speculation, however.

This is a fun and unique prediction..

My son speculated the same and as soon as I heard that theory I have to admit it makes sense. However, the best aspect of BB is anything could happen.
Great show, the writing, acting, music, and editing are right up there with the best.
I told my son he's lucky to be living during the latest "golden age" of TV.

Very true.

I consider myself fairly good at picking out continuity errors and it's hard to find too many in there. I did once and I can't remember what it was. The staff is first-rate.

I once read that early on, Vince Gilligan was obsessed with minor details to the point it annoyed the crew but I think it's one of the factors that made it so much better than most. He was also color crazy, with the main characters wearing colors that projected their mood/state of mind. Marie's purple craze continued. I think during season 4 Walt wore a shirt that looked like it could've come out of Gus' closet, kind of green (?).

Time to re-watch!

"Your" speculation that I TOLD YOU! I took it from a facebook comment...at least I referenced it when I did.

In the flash-forward part Walter's got some serious fire power in his trunk. I think Vince Gilligan said it was an M60 machine gun with a couple boxes of rounds. No good can come of that. Giant weapon=very Scarface. Say hello to Walter White's little friend!

Walter is just a lying sack now. All he has left are the bluffs he's been dealing the whole series.

He told his wife that he's out - doubtful.
He told Jesse he had nothing to do with Mike - false.
He told Hank his cancer is back and will be dead in 6 months - yet he has hair in the flash forward.

Don Eladio threatened Gus, yet let him live. Gus kills Eladio.
Gus threatened Walt yet let him live. Walt kills Gus.
I see the same scenario between Walt and Jesse.
