Breaking Bad coming back

Did anyone see the Mythbusters Breaking Bad special on Monday? They tested Dissolving a body in a bathtub with hydrofluric acid and the Fulminated Mercury explosion from Season 1.

Sadly both were busted, much to Vince Gilligan's dismay. The Hydrofluric Acid didn't work and they used Sulfuric Acid with a "magic sauce" to accelerate the reaction and that still didn't eat through even a fiberglass tub. But I thought about it and if it DID work, they're not going to tell you that. As for the fulminated mercury (with, as Vince Gilligan said in his mind, Silver Mercury added in), the amount Walter was supposed to have used, it would have only caused a little smoke and a tiny explosion which would have injured everyone in the room but not blow out the windows. The amount they used TO blow out the windows would have killed everyone.

So as Vince said, "artistic license".

Or maybe he's going to kill himself. Remember when he told Hank that they both know he will never see the inside of a prison cell? Perhaps he will end up being a wanted man, and return to his home to retrieve the ricin, after faking his own death. This is backed up by the fact that when he returned to his home in the flash-forward scene, a neighbor saw him and flipped out.

That's just my speculation, however.

Seems strange that Walt would kill himself with ricin when he just bought an M60 to presumably kill a bunch of other people. If it were a murder/suicide ending you'd think he'd just bring along a handgun and kill himself if he wasn't killed in the firefight.

And I'm guessing that the neighbor is surprised to see him because Walt's criminal deeds make the news at some point which is why he fled and why the house was deserted (after presumably being thoroughly searched/investigated by the DEA & police).

If that's the case then Walt has to know that she'll be calling the police and he simply doesn't care.

The big question in my mind is what happens to Skylar, Jr and Holly.

I'm still sticking to my predictions that....

A. Walt will kill Skyler
B. Todd will kill Jesse or vice versa
C. Walt will die of his cancer as the DEA is ready to knock down his door.

I knew Todd was a psychopath after he shot and killed Drew Sharpe then after disposing of the evidence, watched the tarantula in the jar with an expression of childlike wonder on his face.

The way he informed Lydia that it was safe to exit the schoolbus/lab was the same level of kind-calm nonchalance that he had while watching the spider. He's a creep of a special variety. I'd rather befriend a living Gus or Mike than that loon.
