Brian McElligott (bmc) RIP

I can't put into words what a great guy he was. He helped us immensely in relation to my uncle's battle with bile duct cancer for which I'd created a thread last year. Provided insights and contacts that nobody out here could, taking time out to respond to every message even with his treatments ongoing. We had been in touch via PMs till sometime back and I was hoping that things were looking up for him. I feel like a fool for not having PM'd him again since our last conversation.

RIP, you were a true friend.

Bummer. Funny guy.

This one really makes me sad. I learned quite a bit from Brian.....life, flying, airplanes, traveling, TSA, Europe, Sweden, Nordic culture, ethnic food, aerospace, eating healthy, caring for caregivers, accepting/respecting other cultures, the list goes on.
Considering his busy schedule and his own battles with being healthy, I was continually amazed how free he was with his time to encourage me, answer a question, direct me to some online resources for more info, etc.
I have a few of his PM's that I will now save to a folder on my computer, and keep them stashed here. Right by the ones from ricbass.

Thank you Brian. You were/are one of the good ones. I'm going to miss his avatar.
