Check your local PBS listings, it’s a very moving portrait, and while it does touch upon the negative aspects of his life, it doesn’t dwell on them on a National Inquierer level…

I can’t say that some of the talking heads are relevant to the subject, but there’s still some interesting observations, and otherwise some emotional moments concerning his brothers. Plenty of archaival clips.

All I know is that he created a beautiful solo album in 1988 while under the care of a doctor, who has since been condemned by Brian's friends and fans.

I didn't know if Eugene Landy was going to be part of this or not. So if he's not then, yes, what I said is irrelevant.

I saw this and was very moved by it. And he's is regrettably damaged by his experienced, at times he sounded like a survivor of a stroke in his speech and responses. I found his comment that he took LSD and his mind exploded very troubling:. All I could think of was 'yes, and who else' .

It's a very long and difficult story of his life, impossible to tell in a one hour vid, and very difficult to be carefully not 'The Real Story' tabloid fare.

Fortunately, it seems like he internalized it. The rest of the band seemed fine. His daughters formed a positive pop band of their own, Wilson Phillips.
