Bridge alignment on Rickenbacker

I finally provided myself with a used Rick but it has that annoying problem when E is closer to the neck edge than G. And strings don't quite match magnet poles of the bridge pickup. Rickenbacker is a neck-through bass so I guess it's a bridge misplacement.
Should I do something about it?

What year is that beautiful JetGlo Rick?
You may be able to file the existing bridge saddle for the mis-aligned string to better center the string or replace the saddle with a new one with the slot filed in the correct location to place the string exactly where you want it.

The fix is really simple ... get 4 new saddles Ffrom Rickenbacker ... they cost $5 each. Then recut the string groove slightly offcenter so the strings sit more in the center of the neck.

I have seen 2 or 3 other Rics with the same problem.

Moving the strings about 1/16" should do the trick.

It sounds reasonable. Unfortunately there's no official Rickenbacker dealership in our country so getting new saddles is going to be a huge pain in the ass, but I guess it's the best option. Thank you guys.
