Hi,
I'm rebuilding a well used, pulled out of the garbage, late 80's Squire HM bass. I'm looking at replacing the bridge because it's pretty shot. This thing was played a lot in it's 25 years. Anyway, the size is an issue. It's a style I haven't come across in my searches. It's about 1/4 inch longer and wider than the standard p and j style bridges. It also has the 4 hole configuration (1 in each corner). That's not a problem because I can line it up and drill the extra holes if needed. It's just the size that's puzzling. If it's unavoidable, I'll bring it somewhere to get it set up. I'm doing this as a kind of learning experience to become more familiar with the inner workings of my instruments.
Thanks,
Larry
