Bridge spacing question

I'm thinking of doing another build soon, a Rickenbacker-imitation type. I tend to go for Gotoh 201 type bridges, can anyone tell me if the spacing for those is compatible with Rickenbacker pickups?

The 201 has 19 mm (3/4") spacing. Maybe someone can chime in on Rick pickups.

Rics have .676 string spacing. The 201 is .75, quite a bit wider.

Just realized the pickups i plan on using are rails. Does spacing even matter in this case?
