Stainless steel fit the bill. Very bright tone and they last a long time.I need a set of bright sounding and long lasting bass strings.

Swap with brighter sounding pickup and 500K/1M volume pot..... then Elixir Nano SS bass string ..... worry free to enjoy your chicken wings or pizza while stage playing .I need a set of bright sounding and long lasting bass strings.

it's not the brightest string, so not the most relevant to this thread. They're well liked on this forum, and I can see why.Recently come back to bass after a 6 year lay off and would really like to check out pressure wounds as an alternative to round wounds that my new jazz bass came with. Slap, tapping and mid range punch. Any views on pros and cons?
