I’m reminded of an audition I went to early 2020.
The guy before me had a 8 x 10 fridge to manhandle from the car park in and out of the studio.
His time getting in and out seemed to take longer than his audition.
I dropped my Rumble 500 combo in the same spot in the studio and the looks on the bands’ faces were incredulous

How do 2 Markbass NY121 vs 2 Ampeg SVT210AV compare?

I have played(and owned) the Markbass NY121 stack. I found them to be aggressive in the mids, and not as "nice" sounding in the mix as the Ampeg cabs. Granted, they can go a little louder, and they will slice through a mix. I'd say they're more modern sounding than the SVT210AV's(not surprisingly). Lots of people use them, and lots of people like them! But for classic vintage tone the little Ampegs are hard to beat.
