Bringing back rock?!?... DEAD LIGHTS

Hello everyone!
You probably see this a lot and ignore it. It may even be classed as SPAM.. But I don't care, this forum is for bassists, and I myself am a bassist, and a young one at that!
Anywho, I'm in a band from CARDIFF, SOUTH WALES.. We're called Dead Lights (ala Stephen King novel 'IT').. and we play unadulterated original hard, punky, heavy rock!

Check us out! If you like GN'R, Zeppelin, The Sex Pistols, or even if you just want to support a young band trying there best to bring rock n' roll back into the world, have a look, give us some feedback. We're doing our best, and we're all 16 years old!!

Also, back to "TalkBassing", I'm Dan, the bassist. Watch our videos and feel free to comment on the bass playing within the band!!!! THIS IS BAND PROMOTION - THEREFORE BAND MANAGEMENT :) :)

PEACE OUT, THANKYOU :hyper: :hyper: :bassist:

thanks D.M.N, you guys are fantastic. Slip Away is great. Really Zeppelin. Love the dirty harmonica!

and perfektspace6, i couldn't agree more, but being a group of impatient 16 year olds, with very little money, and each in our final year of compulsory education and in the middle of GCSE exams, Garageband and live recordings will have to do for now :)

watch our Youtube vids, it'll give a better indication as to what we do :)

P.S. Perfekt, did you listen to the Facebook recordings, or just the Youtube vids?

The facebook ones.

Only point I was trying to make is that most people will only give you one listen and decide if they are ever going to check you out again. Better to wait and come out with something solid, which you can do on the cheap, than have a recording that doesn't do you justice.

Same principle with gigging. Play selectively if you are restricted to a local area but make it a big deal every time you do a show.

Still, I liked the energy and style of what you are doing. Keep it up.:bassist:
