Broken bass? Please help!

Hey guys, I bought an Ibanez SR405 around 16 months ago and i have always used my Fender Guitar Amp (got it with a Fender guitar) and it always worked fine!

but right now, the bass wont make noise (no sound on the amp)! I used my Electric Guitar with the same cable and it worked fine but it seems its the bass!!

So do i have a broken bass ?

any help would be appreciated!

Not good.

I just looked up this here bass and shes loaded with active electronics, give her a battery change and see if it fixes the problem.

Over where? that might be where Parshan is from also, but none of us know where that is.

It's free to take the 9V out and lick the contacts to see if it gives a charge. Heck, I do it just to break the boredom.

I was thinking the same thing, Hey Parshan tell us what brand that battery is.

Go to the nearest smoke detector....


(not a good idea - the smoke detector could save your bass from being burned up someday...)

its a HW Hi-Watt battery, wow it took me more then 5 min just to open the cover!

Ill just get a new 9V today/tommorow and see if the problem gets fixed
