Broken Pickups

when i got my bass from my uncle a year ago, I didnt know nuthin' then so i didnt think much of it, the input jack was real loose on my 5 string Ibanez. Now, it twisted when I took out the cord recently and now the second knob overturns and no noise will come out of the amp.

That's real easy to fix. The pickup is not broken... just a few wires.

Just find a competent repairman that does electronics. Shouldn't be more than $30.

Well, i dont have any money and the bass was hammy down, is there a self fix?

There is a self fix if you know your way around a soldering iron.
