I found out I had the 'rona on Saturday. I've been reading about 5-6 hours a day since. I'm on my 3rd book now. It's the only enjoyable part of the whole deal.

I read Moscow 1812 about Napoleon's cluster^&%# of an invasion. Last couple of chapters were really tough. Ugh.

I know it's not a popular view, but I'm rather partial to Temple of Doom...when you look at it in terms of it's homage to films which provided inspiration for George Lucas in the first place (such as Gunga Din, in this instance). Key members of the production crew on TOD weren't exactly in a happy place at the time (e.g. Spielberg), and it's thought that some of this is reflected in the tone of the film.

I think the comedy elements became a bit less subtle from TOD on....contrast with the understated comedy elements in Raiders (e.g Toht and the coathanger, Marion and the mirror)

Raiders is still #1 for me, though.

I'm positively dreading the upcoming 5th film.....which I don't think anyone asked for, except the studio execs at Disney.

Calamity is super easy to dial-in: Plug bass in, turn on. That's it.

Haven't tried it in a band mix yet but just fooling around I like the toggle in the up position. What's everybody's preference on the toggle?

My preference: up for synth (octave down) with a little dry blended in and fuzz nearly dimed; middle for bass straight in, 100% wet and fuzz around 10 o'clock, sounds like a beefy light OD to me. The down position requires more dry blended back in for my use cases.

Inez played both, but mostly Warwick. Star had those NS2s. I just found Warwick, amazing, I am very curious if that translates over to Spector as well. I know the setup has to be different.

I play a majority of their music and I haven’t. Many reasons. Mostly scale length. Of any bass that shouldn’t be neutered 2 inches it’s the Spector. My buddy has one. It’s Thunderous. However I’ve settled on medium scale mostly.
