Broughton Audio Super Thread

if you look closer at the picture of the ashes you’ll see several stub ends. I had a pile in there. I was a little late on the capture.
From Vic Firth I would have expected to see drumsticks. :woot::woot::woot:

I'll show myself out...
Damn. The saline gentleman speaks the truth. I see ‘em.

Bitter sweet strings thanks to you guys getting me hooked. I keep one bass always strung with them.
These things really are awesome and last forever except when your roughhousing dogs knock over two of your basses at once and dent the heck out of them. Ordered another set. $87.

Wait… the pooches knocked over 2 basses and *the strings are dented*? What did the denting?

The floor and the frets. Kinda hard to see from the picture but it bothers me and I feel they’re compromised.
Just play your highest fret all night and you’re good to go. Everybody knows the highest fret is the money maker fret. And Jaco didn’t need any frets so there’s that.

Got it yesterday and took a brief test today. I didn't have any other pedals on and there were no drastic low end boost from the Hiwatt. Neck pickup from the T-Bird and deliberately a dropped-D tuning. The HPF was set at approx 80hz and while the change in sound clearness was more noticeable in the room the phone mic can also tell something. The first part is without the filter and you can clearly hear (with headphones) the toms from the kit resonating. With the filter on not so much.
