You never know.... hockey in Florida? Texas? Anything is possible.
I don’t follow the lives of NHL players,
but is it still true that the majority were born in Canada? How do those Canadians feel about living in Fl. or Tx.?
In the Big Bend and panhandle of Florida where I live, Canadians are famous and a curiosity for swimming in the Gulf with 55 degree F water temperature. 😂 True snowbirds.

Um.., I think I just accidentally purchased a Tremond. 😐
Enjoy it - a favorite Rat of mine!

And now, the US is out of the World Cup. Can't say I'm surprised, but wow - some sloppy stuff going on. Now I have to figure out who else to root for! My two main teams (Germany and USA) are both out. Now I'm thinking one of the smaller teams left. Let's have a wild upset!

NORWAY!

At this point Morocco, Norway, Egypt. In that order.

I watched a FIFA youth world championship Morocco vs. Nigeria in the early 2000s in a crowded Tea house in meknes. No room anywhere, but a group of Moroccans saw me scouting for a seat from the door and all scrunched up so I could watch with them. Surreal
Experience as I speak zero Arabic or French. Great time. Always loved Moroccan soccer since.

So far the Norwegian seem to be one of the few teams that actually get up off the ground and keep playing, instead of trying to win an Oscar for most elaborate injury scene. So, I gotta root for that.

And Egypt. Well that place is historically cool. Love seeing there supporters in the king tut head gear.

Having said all that, once every four years is about all i can take of 90 min of regular time and 30 min extra for a 1-0 score. My European friends see wonderful games, I get in a couple naps. But I am trying to get on board
