Broughton Audio Super Thread

Them crazy bastards rowing everywhere. The whole Viking schtick. Was pulling for Brazil just for the eye candy in the stands. I know f#+k about soccer. Just learnt today about red cards and what offsides is.

When i was in high school, a kid threw up a noose over a basketball rim, had one of them plastic chairs, and put the noose around his neck and stood on the chair - ha ha- look at me. Another kid kicked the chair out from under him.

Fortunately, the gym teacher saw him struggling, picked him up and got him loose.

They wanted the name of the kid who kicked the chair from the clown, and we wouldn’t budge.

Entire class. 20+ went Helen Keller. For the rest of the year they made us play soccer, which quickly devolved into the same kids who tried to hang the other kid just kicking the ball into the weakest kid in the class, the same kid who almost hung himself.

After that, i pretty much hated soccer. Barbaric sport, if you ask me, even for spectators.

How could one pass on this what with the robust shiny knobs and big ol’ bezeled LED?

I'm sure it's going to be awesome, but I have a Mesa BD800, so..... I already got that thang. :)

Same … need to get through next month and see how much cash flow I have after the TBD vacations my family has mentioned, but not discussed. The off hand comment “we should drive to Banff in late July” and never discussed again, has a way of turning into “we are leaving for Banff in two days, we told you about this a month ago.”

Once we cross the “school is just around the corner, vacations are off the table” line, I am targeting a second Mesa 115.

Road trip to Portland?

It is the bassist for YOB, too. Definitely been road tested. I believe he was running it next to a Berg 610...

Alright. The guitarist is taking the Quad Cortex for the time being so I really did have to redo things. I have a couple of days to nitpick and and rearrange. The Whores. Freq fuzz may not stay, the RFE is mostly not needed at practice. I forgot to add a stupid tuner, because that was in the QC, as well as my noise gates. The noise I will deal with. I may just run the tuner out of my TT800 and keep a pedal tuner next to the amp. Either way, I'm glad to get the Super Watt in live action.

@davedamage roughly, what's the signal chain here?

is it as easy as right to left, bottom to top? or are we jumping between rows every few pedals?
