No, it was horrible, but I saw him live a couple of weeks later and he was pretty damn good. I'd rather perform badly live than do some lame lip sync fake excuse of a "performance". And I can't think of anything in music more pitiful than that, whatever the reason. Live music is actually supposed to be "live", a basic concept I grant you, but true nonetheless. Lip syncing is for Boy bands or 16 year old girls, not musicians. Really, I'm surprised so many people are defending this crap.
