BT210TS speaker replacements?

I have a recently acquired bugera BT210TS cab and I may have missed some speaker issues when I purchased it. Might be a tear in the spider. Used a endoscope too look and it looks possible, will pull them. Soon when time permits.

Trying to decide if I should have them. Reconed, do it myself (never done it before, but I like to tinker and learn) or just replace them.

Any recommendations on Reconed vs replacement? If replacement what would be a good replacement?

There is a shop 90 miles from me that does speaker repair, used them to Recone 2 EAW 18" subs for my church. They do great work. Cost for the 10" speakers would be $80ish per speaker to do a full Recone voice coil etc..

Good replacements from what I've seen are $100 to $175.
Looking for advice/experience etc..

I’m calling you out on this absurd statement.

Except that the specs are unavailable, and no service center tools their own replica cones and surrounds. Cone tooling costs about $10k per cone, and then you would start ol need to know the pulp formulation for the cone (there are many different formulas). These parts are not made in small quantities, the cost of set-up alone is prohibitive.

There are some aftermarket cones and VCs but they are not generally identical to the factory parts, and not for Bugera drivers. These are usually only available for models that were worth reconing, the Bugera drivers are disposable parts.

Please don’t mislead folks here.

You put forward your statement as fact, as though you knew what you were talking about. Had you aid that the shop told you this, I would have called your source out as providing incorrect information.
