BTB 405QM Question

What does the QM bit mean? Was there originally just a BTB 405? If so whats the difference and does anyone know when any changes were introduced?

Quilted Maple. I actually have a BTB405QM, but it never gets played these days now that I'm off 5 strings. Someday I'll get round to selling it.

Right...so if the body has got a stripy finish that means its a QM?? No other technical differences?

Well, perhaps, but the Qm refers to the quilted maple. It's not a stripey finish, it's a translucent finish over a quilted maple top.
