buckeye burl filling

The method I described is your only option to get a match and it works fine .You've got the dark material from the edges of the buckeye that you've cut out that you can use as filler material . You could even use small squares to fill the bulk of the voids but you'll need the sawdust +clear epoxy or glue to bind it all together .I've used this method with ebony to fill in some inaccurate routing of block inlays and it's absolutely unnoticeable after drying and sanding .G'luck
