Bugera speakers

They work here for what I got them for. When we have very good FOH and monitors provided, I'll skip a backline and use a 1x12 kickback(Behringer amp with a Bugera 12" aluminum speaker) EQ'd to ONLY provide mids/highs. The PA subs and drummer's monitor(s) give me plenty of lows.

A different brand name, at least. :rollno:

Have a look

"Behringer" once made a speaker that had some problems. As far as I know, they fixed them.

Sometime later, they bought/merged out a big speaker manufacturer "Turbosound". Now they develop new cabinets.

Companies can make better products that they use to. It happens.

The Music Group just built a new R&D lab in the UK. Expect even more.

Nice zombie thread.

I gigged the paper cone version of the cab in the picture for 4 years without a scerrick of trouble. Flogged it for $250 of the $380AU I paid for it. I heard that there were common issues with the aluminum coned Behringer cabs but can't speak from experience.

I also had the 115 which took my unrelenting pummeling for 6 years. It did eventually die, but 6 years for $215AU is pretty satisfactory as far as I'm concerned.

someone gave me a behringer cab with a bugera speaker and its the only speaker i've ever blown in 40+ years and that was because i unplugged my bass with the amp on, silly me. i did like the rollers though. it was a 15 ally speaker. now sold on with a celestian inside. this was long before i knew about speaker/ cab matching. the new owner aint complained yet.
