If it's 2000 Watts Peak, by any reasonable standard, it would have to do very close to 1000 Watts RMS. Is that expected from this amp?
I know the iNuke was said to be "maybe" 1/10 to the best I've heard 1/4 of the rated power. The iNuke had a hot mega thread running a few years ago.
I hope those who have purchased any of these products gets what they expect, and at least what they paid for. My issue as far as specs go (dishonesty aside), is the way this gear comes across for new people, those that just don't know anything about gear. What if they know a little, or search wattage ratings here? They will think they need a 2000 Watt or maybe a 1000 watt speaker. What if they have a 500 Watt RMS amp and buy a 500 Watt Behringer speaker for it?
If you believe the Veyron IS 1000 WRMS, how about pulling the cover and reading us the voltage of the power supply caps?
Well, all that I can say is that my amp easily has more than enough power for my needs and with the other features that are bundled in, it's really a great value at it's cost in my opinion. So yeah, I'm happy with the purchase. I've paid more for amps that did not work out as well for me as I would have liked. The back of the amp states 1000 watts at 8 ohms and 2000 watts at 4 ohms. I've already mentioned that the manual states 2000 watts peak. Here's the back....
