This project is excellent. Through and through. You did an excellent job, and the owner can enjoy playing his bass again. Really is a one of a kind bit of kit.
I personally feel that the knobs let it down a little, it might have been nice to see wooden knobs fashioned from the old tail piece.
Or something along those lines.
However I love the use of the wood on the back, brilliantly done.

Also, just realised, totally answering your question about how I could make those DB tuners work on my guitar thread.This bass turned out to be stunning man. Good call on the tuners, they fit the look perfectly.
