Building a Better Rig

Right now I'm using an Acoustic B200H with a Behringer Ultrabass BB210. It sounds good, but could use some more low-end power. I want to add a 1x15 or 1x18 to the rig, but I'm on a tight budget. How should I go about building my own 1x__ cab? (Or should I just buy a used)

Going wrong at the start. Adding a different cab with a bigger speaker might (robably) won't add lows. Might sound better if you don't like the sound of the 2x10, but unpredictable. Best thing to do is, if you have the time tools and inclination, is to build a cabinet, and replace the one you have. One of these will be way ahead of commercial offerings: http://billfitzmaurice.net/Simplexx.html
