well. i am unable to get a great video as far as sound quality and just quickly played to demo. Rode videomic and DSLR. the videomic is awesome at everything but low frequencies is where it is lacking (a la bass guitar). first take no editing.
i think you should be able to tell when it is activated. its much more drastic in room than it appears on the video, this is also at a low volume. this will be thunder for a big bass rig when i get one.

also i didn't really boost more than 20dB near as i can tell.
my endgame is to make it a momentary switch for a temporary bass boom, almost like a bass boom in a song that you hear on some Lamb of God stuff.
it will be on only while stepped on (hence momentary). just so i can drop the boom when i want to drop the massive boom.
this will probably get used for only a few seconds here and there but, it was what i needed and does the effect i was looking for. now for getting the momentary switch wired up.
