Burnt my fretting fingers

Has anybody exp with burns. I didn't go the hospital because the burns didn't look that bad. They hurt like hell but didn't look bad until they kind of popped open to drain. Thats when I realized it's probably over a 1/16" of skin that appears to want to fall off my fingers. I think Im gonna have to play with only two fingers for the time being, what a drag..
Curious if any of you now approx healing times for burns...

To me 2nd degree burns. If pain does not kill you, try white tape from the pharmacy. It's a trick l learned from working with masons. Use gauze against raw skin. Do not cut skin off.
A couple weeks on the inside. ,

it varies, of course (severity of injury, the 'treatments', your age, general health, habits, yada yada), but several weeks to months for repair and then the 'reconditioning' of your finger pads for playing, IME.

but even with burns, cuts, stitches = i found that properly taping the finger pads (you'll need a thin insulating layer, like some gauzes to catch the possible 'weeping') allowed me to get by on gigs --- if you can tolerate the pain and the clumsiness caused by the taping.

if you don't have gig commitments = let the fingers heal --- don't play! good luck with your fingers!

I have crazy glued burned, cut, and blistered fingers before. Nothing that bad ever. Beware- Crazy glue on damaged tissue is the most painful thing a human can endure- for about ten seconds. I would avoid playing, but I know the real world may think differently. Good luck.

If it were me I would just not play for a couple weeks and let the burns heal, you'll probably be in a lot less pain that way, use proper first aid as mentioned above

I know but I have one last show with these guys and then I think Im finished and will get to relax...Heading south to Louisiana from Washington.
Ill be going from fast 1,2 fu beats to hopefully some nice paced jazz unless I can find a bunch of old PR guys that are still onto the style....
